Catching Up

Time to catch up the travel log! The biggest news is that we are now grandparents! While we will not be posting any photos, let me just say that the family had a wonderful gift delivered in December 2025. A baby girl. Our grand-daughter! Our travel priority has elevated appropriately.

The Autumn Leaf transformation trip in October and early November was magnificent. We were away 38 days on this RV trip which allowed for a lengthy visit in Virginia. We stayed several miles from the south entrance to Shenandoah National Park and used the new-to-us towed vehicle to make day trips in the area. The scenery was divine! We also took in the north end of the BlueRidge Parkway as the cooler weather made layered clothing a must. As we stayed about a week longer than most others in the RV camp, we did experience some freezing temperatures before departing for Texas.

The "winter" has been enjoyed at our Farm Cabin. A few projects are underway. And it is almost time to uncover the RV and make it ready for the year. We will spend a few days in Rockport with our dear friends in March as we check out the rigs and have an early spring trip.

Let me just say this: being a grandparent is everything we heard it would be!
