We previewed the music festival scene with friends this weekend. Railcar Revival was the name and it was in our current location. Held at the Buda TX City Park, the event featured Texas based music groups Reckless Kelly, Ty Myers, Julianna Rankin, along with Cody Canada, and finally Treaty Oak Revival. A good sized crowd gathered early afternoon under a blue sky and a mild November temperature. Lots of food, drinks, and merchandise was available at event prices. Those are the bullet points for this journal entry; however, the significance was a snapshot of things to come. Laura and I enjoyed the company of longtime friends, the Blomstedts. We shared a great weekend of music, food, and storytelling. And we planned at least two RV meet-ups for music festival events in 2025.
